Hey All
So i got me another dakar...... this is number two. I am still not convinced that it wasnt in an accident of some kind before i got it but anyway here is the issue.
This dakar is a gas chomper. i am getting an average of 18Km/L....THATS REALLY BAD FOR A DAKAR!!!!. I used to get between 22 and 25 depending on how hard i twisted.
So i was hoping all you smart people could help me find out 1) - Why its so heavy on the juice and 2) - How to bring it back to a perfectly performing machine that needs only fumes to travel all over the world.
Please keep in mind that i will be doing all the repairs or checking or changing my self so finance and bike availability is a factor. i commute with the bike to JHB everyday and dont have another option. So i will probably take some time to respond on suggestions or if you ask me to check something.........
Let the adventure begin!!!!!!!!!! :ricky: atch: :eek7: :ricky:
I really need to figure this out.
thanks in advance guys.....
