So a while back I lost a rear wheel bearing in spectacular fashion.
The bearing totally collapsed and in the process damaged the ABS sensor (It broke)
Well as they are fairly expensive and that I had to purchase a second hand sprocket carrier I decided to rather save up for a new one, but came across a brand new second hand one VIA gumtree.
I fitted that sensor but to my surprise it did not work. As soon as I hit 30km/h the ABS light on the dash goes on and the ABS does not work. Below 30km/h no problem, ABS works.
Does anyone know if this issue must be cleared by BMW, I am waiting on a friend with the same bike to test if its not the sensor by removing his sensor and putting it on mine.
But I think its a ECU reset problem. Any ideas guys?
