So... went for a ride... bike decided to stop... figured, fuel pump!! Removed the pump, noticed it is still the original pump (Yes, in a 1991 model RD04) and that basicly confirmed why I thought it is the fuel pump.
Then I fitted a new Facet 40171 - however problem still persists. Did some test and found that there's no 12V going to the pump. To cut a long story short, the relay is faulty. I temporary bridged the wires and voila - the pump is now working.
Thing is, it doesn't stop pumping - even with ignition set to ON and motor not running, it continues to pump. Is that becuse the relay is removed?
And if so, what relay can I get in order to replace this one? I did manage to get a second hand one this morning, still need to test it this weekend.
