"Flying" report

I had a wedding to attend in PMB 2 days before Xmas and booked airline tickets for myself and the missus, however a good mate of mine happened to be on a weeks holiday in Kenton on Sea with his chopper and also happened to be heading to Durban on Friday the 22nd :biggrin:
He took off from Kenton and landed in Kasouga at our holiday home and off we went, I have flown by chopper as far as Hole in the wall previously but never East of that and never at 100 odd foot above the coastline!
Made a brief stop in East London to refuel, a quick stop for tea at another mate in Pullen Bay near Haga and a lovely cray lunch stop at Mpenda before arriving in Durbs blown away by the magnificent Transkei coast!

We also did a helicopter flight over Swakopmund area in a legendary Hue from the Vietnam war in December. It was absolutely awsome.
While the east coast is mountenous and green, our west coast is flat and desert but the scenery from the air was so nice.
