This is such a lekker series. Happened to pick it up through Fanie that I knew years ago before he left the Lowveld. It really motivated me to get a bike again after losing confidence from an accident. I thoroughly enjoy the footage, narration, technical insights and good humoured banter. It’s so lekker to see an SA production of this quality. WELL DONE GUYS!

Bumped into Pierre last week at @Off Road Cycles . What a Nice guy. His lightly came and gave me a sticker for my bike which was confiscated by @Pebbles when I arrived home and stuck on her bike next to itchy boots.

Ja, jong. We were invited to attend the Triumph Tiger 1200 Launch. No idea why? We're just two idiots.

We met one of the clever Ooms on this page who was there to review the bike. His rotation flew back home, as we arrived at the airport. We read his review, and it was very informative, but obviously, we do things a little differently.
With all those famous Bike Journalists around, we just decided to enjoy the event, free food, and fancy hotel... and try not to crash a bike.

Must admit... being used to chain-driven bikes... I never realized how much different the feel is when you cross dongas or ridges at speed. Just couldn't get used to the crash of the heavy unsprung weight on the rear wheel through the dips. I cringed over every obstacle but, you're NOT supposed to jump it. It's a HEAVY, BIG, long distance, two-up-with-luggage-kinda-bike... and for that application, it's basically perfect.
