I had an adv gearbox in my piggie but it started to stick in 2nd or 3rd gear. According to BMW the gear in the box as well as the shifting drum is worn etc. I replaced the whole gearbox with a standard gs box and took the adv box with me. I miss the adv gearing, so I opened the adv box, but the gears itself seems fine, just some small dents on the shifting drum. I think this is where the problem is.
Can the drum be repaired, its alluminium. If not, where could I get a replacement?
