In 2023, what should one use?
A Garmin GPS has been the go to navigation tool for forever, but it is terrible to find a physical address, especially after being spoiled with Google Maps. On the other hand a phone might not always the best navigation tool.
So what to use?
Itchy Boots has ridden 6 seasons on ever better GPSs - the latest being a Montana 700i, but in a change of scenery is now using a tablet to navigate through the remotest of North Africa. It is the Carpe Iter Pad, a high performance navigation device. It runs on Android, making it super versatile. She uses OSM (Open Street Maps) for navigating.
What should one use in this day and age?
