On my recent trip to Augrabies we filled up with petrol that had water in. After 300km the bike started to splutter hectic and I could not manage 120kph.
Filled up with new petrol, tank took 23liters, and the splutter was gone.
Since then I did around 3000km without any problems.
Now it struggels to start after a week. When it does start, it splutters violently fro about 30sec.
After that, starts fine, but once engine is on normal temp it starts to miss. If you blip the throttle the engine dies.
If you ride 3 days in a row it will start 100% in the mornings, and after a few minutes the miss in idling is back. Let it stand for 5 days and the whole issue to get it started is back again.
Constant speed, say 140-150, you can hear the splutter coming from the sound of the pipe.
Fuel consumption is up, power is down.
Any ideas?
