On the weekend I was messing around in the garage with EssBee and his newly aquired GSA.
1. I noticed that there is an indentation in the plastic of the fuel tank.
Its on the RHS only and only visible from the front, looking through the forks. Its a depression in the tank about the size of a 'LongTom' can and there are nuts encased in the plastic on either side maybe for a retaining strap.
Is his bike missing something or is it for an optional extra ? Toolkit, First Aid kit
Any suggestions ? Sorry, Ishould have taken pics.
2. Next one. Under the pillion seat there is a plastic retainer horseshoe shaped that runs towards the back of the bike. It looks like it takes something about 15-20mm diameter. Is this for a flexible lock device, like the old Bicycle locks ? My R100RS has one which fits in the frame tube under the tank. Is that an optional purchase or is it for something else ?
