So after much deliberation I eventually treated myself to a set of Handle Bar Risers from Touratech.
Tried all the local shops - not one in stock
Got hold of [email protected] who confirmed stock and price R380.00 incl. Part No. 040-0267.
He emailed me an invoice with banking details and I did an electronic payment - all square and I picked up the goodies. Took all of about 5 min to fit and about 10 min to adjust and test.
Now whuy did I not fit this before? :?:
Sitting riding feels a lot more stable (have not done gravel yet) and comfortable - even changes the angle of my slouch!
Standing is as expected - no more strange angle in the back as if I am becreeping the road. Nice comfortable - gee I could ride standing all the time - MUCH more control.
Highly recommended.
Down side - as expected, at full lock the goodies on the handlebar touch the MRA touring screen and the brake line seems a tad tought, could probably do with a slight adjustment.
