Went up there last weekend with Tallisman and what a ride ......fantastic .....but .....before you all go rushing off there please be aware that you need permission to ride in that area. Hans Kop is a definite no no ....if you get caught up there , big shit ....Telkom will lock you up and throw away the key and you can be assured that if you plan to have kids in the future ....with all the microwave radiation up there ...you might have an unfortunate shock in the future. Im in the industry so I have connections....and Im done with kids  :biggrin:

I don't think Telkom is a problem.  Their equipment is fenced of.  And there are other service providers up there as well.  If you tell Telkom you work for MTN or Vodacom or Iburst, they won't know or care.

You do drive through Cape Pine area.  They can not be full of shit either, as the land don't belong to them.  A small part of the tarred road goes through Cape nature arseholes.  They think they conserve nature only for their own benefit.

I once got a R500 fine for driving up Nuweberg.  The state prosecutor threw the case out because the mountain was not fenced off.
