I've been reading the forum for quite a while, eventually registered in January 2011 and recently advertised my R1150 GSA for sale. I've been riding since 1976 and except for a short while on a Yamaha, all my bikes since have been air-cooled twins. First a Moto Guzzi LM which I still own and then BMW GS1100 and now the 1150. You can gather from the above that I appreciate old technology and particularly enjoy reading the Technical section. I ride every day- 3km commute in small KZN town :mwink:- and undertake a regular Southern African trip, usually alone (son lives in N Zambia) but I have done a 21 day trip with a friend. I will retire shortly and hope to do many more trips then as well as restore the Guzzi. When not on my bike I drive a '97 Discovery V8ES sans fuel injection. SU's look and sound better.
