I must admit, although I'm now only introducing myself, I've read through thousands of pages on this forum. Dreaming and druling :drif:
Then finally got my bike and it is brilliant! Got a second hand F800GS and loving it to bits!
Hit the road on saturday from Pretoria to Parys for a bit of plane watching at an air-show. Then to Potchefstroom, joined up with some friends for a lunch run to the Vaal river. On Sunday on my way back to Pretoria straight into the rain! Then under the bridge saw some fellow bikers and joined them trying not to get too wet... :eek7:
To top it all off had a family crisis in Bloemfontein, so another 900km round trip! Yet again, it was pissing down! So.....lesson learnt, got the Vuka rain-suite someone mentioned somewhere on the forum, very good investment!
My gat is a bit sore now, but getting there!
