I currently have a 2013, low milage Sertao in excellent condition which i have been using for commuting, breakfast runs and short trips.
Before i start adding luggage and protection to it, i though i should take a minute and consider whether i should retain the Sertao or get a XT660R.
Nothing wrong with a Sertao, apart from the fact that it is a BMW, but i had a XT660R some years ago which i really enjoyed and which i did some great trips on.
Maybe i am just afraid to properly use the Sertao as it is still really pretty.
Which would you choose and why? Yes Danie...i know what you gonna say, but please give me some deeper insights on things i may not have yet considered.
I will also add a few pics of my own bike later to illustrate its condition and what i am talking about.
