I was stuck in Midrand the other day with a dead battery. Because this happened to me before, I knew the signs immediately and bought the first battery I could get hold of. I drove back to the Vaal Triangle and when I tried starting my bike a week later - dead. Not even the dash lights came on. I now realise that something is running my battery down when the bike is switched off - but where do i start looking? I can see a small spark when connecting the second battery terminal, indicating a current is flowing - but where to? I have a 2006 GSA.
Any ideas where and how to test will be appreciated.
