Hey all,
Firstly, thank-you for accepting me to your wonderful forum.
I'm Matt, I live in Tasmania, Australia.
Fairly new to 'Adventure Riding' but have been busy making up for lost time.
I bought a new GSA 18 months ago and have loved every minute of it (except being stuck on steep rocky hills) but have just recently purchased a new F800GS to see if it can fill in the spots where the GSA was lacking for me.
Getting away for the big trips has been a bit hard the last 12 months due to work but I have big plans on the horizon!!
One of them is to visit your continent as soon as I can!
I've been filling in my night shifts with as many ride reports from Africa as I can. I'm here to tell you, I'm falling in love with your country and I haven't even been there yet!!
I've a friend who lived in SA for a while and married a girl from Pretoria, so i'm hoping they can help fill me in on some of the lingo you guys use!! ;D
Looking forward to spending some time here.
Regards.
