Hi all.
Need some advice/assistance or a buddy here please. Looking to do the HID or Xenon conversion on my 1150 GS. However, I cannot find a place that will sell a motorcycle kit at a reasonable price. Now, that leaves me with two options.
1) Do anybody here know where I can get a motorcycle conversion kit at a reasonable price?
2) Anybody here that also want to convert and willing to share a car kit with me?
I only want the low beam converted. Reason being that Xenon?s do not like the "flashing" that we do. The bulb takes a few seconds to warm up.
So here?s my deal. Buy a car kit and share it with someone who also wants to convert. Costs will be plus, minus, more or less R1200.00 looking here https://www.xenonlights.co.za/ and here https://www.hidlights.co.za/pricing.html
I fancy the 6000k bulb that gives the blue light. Lower than that it goes towards yellow and higher is violet. I kind of like the blue.
So, if you have the H1 bulb and are looking to convert, I drive past https://www.hidlights.co.za/ and can pick a kit up. What I like about them, they have supplied kits to several riders doing the same what I am trying to do now, share the car kit.
