I have found the quarry and sand riding not only fun but extremly beneficial.
Gone from paddling in sand to pulling off in 2nd and gassing it.
The more i train the more i am able to see problems early, choose better lines and generally take in surroundings, instead of focussing 2m in front of the bike
I would like to spend some time specifically targeting high speed cornering on dirt. I think it should provide an extra margin of safety in normal dirt riding.
there are suitable roads in he quarry or close to Contermans Kloof
