Here's a question for you guys in the know.
What is the correct posture for high speed sand riding?
Somewhere in my hazy past I was told to lean more forward, shoulders over the handlebars, putting more weight on the front wheel than what I would naturally do. I have done this ever since and found it to be my prefered position. I find by gripping the tank tightly with my legs frees my arms to be very relaxed, almost allowing the "head" of the bike to find it's own track without much input from me. I then steer by weight-shift.
I was told on Saturday night by some other off-road riders that they disagree with my technique and that I should be shifting my weight back.
Whats your opinion?
