So I woke up this morning to clear blue skies and a 30 degree forecast, so I decided to take the morning off and go play in the forests around Hilton on the KDX. Now I have never done a Ride Report on a plastic ride before, basically because it is hard to carry a camera, and you are usually with a group who want to ride, not hang around taking pictures.

But this morning I was on my own so I took the camera with and took it easy.

Some nice single track leading into the forest:

Great ride, no mishaps, but I did take it easy as I was on my own and it was very slippery due to all the rain we have been getting.

Back home by 11h30, showered and in the office by 12h00, Ride Report posted by 12h40  ;D

Life is tough in Africa

Awesome - used to ride that area as a kid on my MT-5!  S`pose the waterworks up ChaseValley way are long gone?  Riding heaven!!

That looks really lekker. Nothing like doing steep down hills on your own. Hope you will be posting again soon.

And then the rain came glad you had a good time. Spur of the moment way to go .

Thanks for the effort.

Cheers

Nice one Jon, Looks perfect for the GSA..... :mwink:

I remember Crinkle cut and Black ridge. Riding nirvana.

Thanks for sharing.

and thanks for fucking up my driveway on your way back...............................................

WOW!!
Those photos bring back alot of memories. Used to ride around those hills way back in the 80's.  Great photos

Thanks for the kind comments guys, glad I could bring back some memories for those who used to ride this neck of the woods.

Hilton and surrounds really does have some nice off-road riding, and it's only 5 minutes ride from home  :thumleft:
