How Far Would You Go

I've been wondering what the average distance is that a bike does in its life time. Obviously this will differ for my TW200 and say a 1200GS. but generally speaking, What is the MAX km that you would put on a bike. I get the feeling that most sell there bikes at around 25000km and I rarely see a bike with > 75000km on the clock. But I can't see the reason why a big twin can't do > 200 000km.

My TW200 has 22 000km and I can easily see myself go > 50000km with proper maintenance.
