I managed to get a puncture on my rear Anakee with less than 1000km's on it! Glass went through the thick part of the tread.
I managed to remove the glass and plug it ok but now have a dilemma - I want to get maximum mileage out of the tyre but am concerned how long a plug will last in the tyre.
1. How long can one expect a plug to last?
2. Should I be replacing the tyre?
3. If not, should I treat the tyre any differently than if it were new? i.e. speed restrictions, etc.
I commute daily 40km's each way and slip off road whenever I get a chance. Thanks!
