I want to fit the progressive fork springs to my Dakar. Where do I start? For now I have the bike on a stand with the front wheel removed ( I changed the tyre this weekend and it is still standing like that). In the 650 maintenance manual there is nothing about the forks?
What I think I know: Drain the oil from the two screws at the bottom, remove the top end caps on the forks, remove old springs and replace with new, fill up with oil. All this without removing the forks from the bike :-\. Any advise will be appreciated.
