HP starting issues

Help please

For a long time now on and off I have had issues with starting cold

I started by fitting the ultrabatt
Had starter checked and services new brushes

Again starting it, it just CLICKS - hard and continuously
On advice from JacoM I shorted the starter and it started then I opened up the relay and sprayed it CRC and yesterday it was fine

Today same issue

While holding down the start button the red light on the dash comes on.

My train of thought is powersource - sorted
Starter fact that it turns whenm shorting it - sorted
WHAT ELSE???
