Now that the bike is done, I am taking some time to get use to it.
I travel solo  :-\ and thus not much of a ride report to go with.

I am going to use this same thread to post some random pictures of trips in our district every now and then  :thumleft:

Today

I came across this "brilliant"  :dousing: way of marking a "motorhek" that needs attention - wire strung across - how dumb can you be?

So, Is the HP what you hoped it would be?
What "make" is that carrier? Can you post an up close photo of the support brackets please?
In my view a HP looks better with a screen on. Dark screen better to break that "long" and flat side view.
Jou bike lyk bef...k. :thumleft:

Heard on Discovery Channel recently:

So here we have the African Blue Hashbefokitus Pikitus Dos in its natural environment. Note the natural tan created by its continuous kicking up dust. This is a rare moment as they are usually found in pairs hounded by some wild dogs . We have to tread carefully as it is known to rear up at a moments notice and dis sapear in a cloud of dust ...

Maybe it is because this one has lost its mate but no sign of the orrange coloured KakaTeeMouse usually enjoying the dust of the Pikitus Dos

This species is also on the endangered list and more and more of them is being kept in captivity with the misplaced sense of preservation of its human companions .. the question is for how long we will still see this picture of the Pikitus Dos in its natural African Savanna environment ... maybe it will follow the closely related Africanious Twinikus into extinction ... we hope not so that our children's children can continue to enjoy this African splendour ....

The carrier is the Wunderlich one, I had to make it fit with the Markus tank but glad I did - It has 2 bolts that go into the horizontal sub frame and then bolts onto the 45degree frame.  It makes it very strong.

The screen looked bad as it was a "generic" and I then made it fit around the light and the Niku bracket - I promise you no wind whatsoever to talk about  :mwink:
