Since Jame Bond in Tomorrow Never Dies, 1997, rode one, I've wanted a BMW R1200C. I've been seriously trying to source one for the past 9 years - but if it was not butchered and neglected, it was ridiculously expensive.
BMW will soon be launching their new Cruiser model as a follow up on the discontinued vintage R1200C which in effect made my desire to find one even more difficult as everyone that still has one in decent condition is well aware what will happen to the value once the R1800C is launched.
Obviously there are still a few properly cared for bikes in Germany, but then I will have to accept the inconvenience to be connected to a dialysis machine seeing that it would costs both my kidneys to get the bike here.
But then my friend Joel found this one, - a 2003 model, It is the Independent variant, which has done just over 3 500km, in pristine showroom condition.
Here she is, the new addition to the stable - ain's she a BEAUTY!!!!
