I bought a DS bike to explore the Karoo as it is a place I really don't know.  I too was puzzled by the attraction of the place but riding through it on a bike has made me appreciate it & I now have some understanding of what it is that makes people from there so love it.

I particularly liked that towering koppie you posted 3 photos of after  Nieu Bethesda.

My daughter went there years ago & took lots of photos but they were prints.  Seeing the true vivid colours on digital pictures shows what the crushed glass really looks like.

well done wolf. nieu bethesda is certainly one of the best destinations for solo rides. the place has got something in the air. a tangible atmosphere I think....

Wow! Nice RR WS. Ek hou veral van die fotos van die murasies. Wonder altyd wanneer ek murasies sien, watse storie hulle sou vertel as hulle kon praat. Kry altyd so hartseer gevoel as ek dit sien.
