Hi,
I signed up here some time ago...sorry only getting around to this now!
Been riding dirt since a teenager. Raced (well I thought I was racing, was never at the front though!) Natal WFO's, Zululand Enduro Champs, SCMSC Harescrambles in the early eighties (IT 200)
Mid eighties to early nineties got hooked on exploring back roads and tracks on a XT 600 Tenere...mainly around Swaziland while I was posted there for work.
Explored Lesotho extensively while living there for five years (KDX 250).
Raced 350 Banshee while living in Namibia for five years.
Now living at Sun City I'm now on my second LC8. First one (950 S) I bought new in 2005. After 50 000 km's I sold it and bought (also new) a 2010 990 R. I ride as often as I can, through South Africa, Lesotho and Swaziland mainly, but I have also done Botswana, Namibia, Zambia, Zimbabwe and Mozambique.
