Jehovah Jireh Presents Run 1 Dec 2013

Laban, Thump, Jman and Daskop meet at Engen Blue Water Bay and set off for Alexandria via Kinkel bos and Woody Cape.

All that I could remember is that they liked my bike best because they could use it as a klimraam, en hulle was bang vir die brul van die KTM, en hulle het geweet wat is 'n BMdubbleU (die vinnige een)

Nice to see Thump on a KTM again .  :ricky: well I'm hoping to see a pic of the bikes too.  ;D

Dit was awesome om weer bietjie samet die dogs te ry, thanks Thump, DASKOP en LAban, en Vida.  Dit was lekker rustige ride en to see a smile on a happy kiddies face is always and enriching experiance.

It was a blessing to be part of this today.

Some could not wait, the tired was too much, including the dog.

The kids impressed with their vocals. The singing was really amazing.

It was a delight to see the joy that these presents brought to the kids. I am not waiting until next Christmas to do this again. Who else is in?

The pig was oblivious to it all after I gave it a belly scratch.

The roar of the KTM had the kids scrambling for cover.

We take these things for granted, to the kids, it was a treat.


We have to make a difference on a more regular basis so that we can maintain a real perspective on life.

Today was an incredible experience.
We were all amazed at these children and what Molly, Neils and their volunteers have achieved. To have over 100 children behaving like angels and with free smiles for all was truly amazing.

Almarie bought a variety of different items based on age and sex for each child and the volunteers.
She packed each in painted boxes which looked really impressive.

Daskop, Laban, J-man and myself went on bikes, BigE and Almarie each took a bakkie loaded with presents and food.

The Children all sat at the tables and one at a time they came up for their presents as their name was called and a pic was taken.
All those that donated will have a pic emailed to them of the child receiving their present.

When all children had their presents, the volunteers received theirs.
It was great to see how all the kids cheered when the volunteers were called up.

They then opened the presents to see what they had, and then handed them all back so they could eat the hot dogs.

To see almost 100 children do all this without tears but with smiles and joy was quite incredible.
I don't think my kids would have wanted to give their presents back after receiving them. haha

This was definitely one of those days when those that went to give came away having received the most.
Thank You Almarie for tackling this project, for what you achieved in such a short time and letting us all be a part of it.

There is no better view than the smile of a joyfull child especialy when that child can smile and love even though they have experienced loss and love like no child should. Thump, Vida, well done guys, as was said earlier, you went to give and in return received more than you gave,  what a blessing you guys were and are to these kids and workers.
I am sorry that Des and I could not make it, but a 6'4" man does look good in pics while crying snot and trane 

Jack, my pleasure and glad you enjoyed the ride on my beast, nice pic in the garden, get your butt into gear and get another KTM before you kidnap mine  :lol8: Des wondered if you were going to return "her" bike, seeing as you left me the KLR  :imaposer:  (she loves the loud pipes 8) )

The road back.

They were trapping at Nanaga, but the sun was reflecting off of the vehicle, so you could see it the moment you crested the rise from GHT.

Good ride back. Some gravel, some animals and then the last bit..............wind. So uncharacteristic or PE.
