Well, after weeks of hassles and fuck ups from my bank (don't ever do business with Nedbank - they're idiots) I finally got my Dakar.
As some of you may know I sold my ET4 a few weeks ago, and have been using a Korean Jonway junker in the mean time.
I came offthe bike last week in the rain, and roasted my arm and fucked up my knee a bit.
My biggest concern was that i wouldn't be able to get my leg over the high Dakar saddle.
But i didn't let a swollen ripping scab experience put me off.
i went to Atlantic Motorrad yesterday at about 4.
Freakonaleash had everything ready for me. He gave me a quick rundown on the bike.
I've never riden one before not even for a test drive. In fact, i've never riden anything larger than a 250.
So needless to say, I kakked myself a bit.
The hieght of the bike worries me a bit, as I'm on tiptoes on the bike.
But hell once the bike is going, what a dream.
I didn't go ffor much of ride, jst back to Sea Point and through to Camps Bay and back again.
Hot damn I'm gonna have fun on this bike.

Can't wait for my first long run this weekend.
