As I would love to buy a 2014/15 KLR650 I emailed Kawasaki SA for a official reply and this is what they have send me:
Unfortunately this model can no longer be imported due to the introduction of the new compulsory standards act. Parts and backing for the motorcycle will still be readily available as this model is still manufactured for other markets.

So, do any of you know if it is possible to buy a KLR650 in one of our neighbouring countries and bring it here?
