Pack Dog
Okay, I know KLR's are rattlers - blurred vision and loose tooth fillings are pretty much part of the game. This is different.
I recently installed a set of Bark Busters on the my 2007 KLR and had to remove the end weights. (The bike had a cruise control friction lock installed with an after-market end weight to fit the lock)
I tried re-fitting the end weights, but to no avail. The Bark Buster bolts are too thick to pass through the end-weight holes and the end weight bolts are too short to fit the weights and Bark Busters securely...
The trouble is that now the handlebars vibrate so badly my hands end up going numb. Does anyone else have this problem? How did you fix it? And is there a CHEAP (AKA backyard mod :) method of decreasing handlebar vibration on the KLR in general?
