Okay this is the scenario. You have to use the bike in this freezing weather with a ride distance of 50km. When you get to your destination you will be in an airconditioned facility like a shopping mall.
How do you dress considering:
1) The ride will be freezing.
2) At your destination you will be too hot wearing your riding gear.
3) Carrying bulky kit around is awkward and frustrating.

The compromise for me is I wear longjohns under my trousers and wear a lighter (as in non-specifically motorcyling jacket.) Under that I wear a parachute-material windbreaker bought at a Chinese store. I have found that to be warm enough in the weather we've had over the last two days and the wind breaker can literally be rolled up small enough to fit into a pocket.

The longjohns can be a bit hot in the mall so I figure if I get a pair of tracksuit pants in the same material I could wear them over my trousers and remove them at my destination. Would look a bit gay but wtf.

What are your clothing solutions?
