Went to Runner's place this morning to have a look at his bash plates for the KLR. I liked what I saw so I bought one. I think this one is of better quality than the imported one (from the pictures I saw anyway). With the imported one the sump plug is still a bit exposed.
Some modification was needed to the existing front engine mounting brackets so he offered to sort it out. Its not so much modifying the bracket itself but rather removing the flimsy pieces of metal that the old plastic bash plate connects to. Once again, thanks for the excellent service dude.
