Can anyone help me with a mini procedure for doing a compression test on a KLR please. I bought the tool and know the Kacr must be disabled in some way or another.
How do i disable kacr after valve cover is removed?
How many strokes do I need to turn motor?
If Kacr still active would compression values be of any use?

My bike burns oil, but not too bad yet. In the last 2000km there was a noticeable lost of power. Carb was recently cleaned. Filters clean and plug still fairly new.

2007 Fugly with 30K km. Using about 500ml oil per 1000km. Often ridden over 5500rpm.
