Moring ous! I stuffed up my knee this W/E training on the Husky. Had a slow fall at no more than 20kmh, but came down hard on my knee. The flimsy Thor knee guard had shifted down before impact and I took it all on top of the knee-cap. Blunt impact, no twisting. Nothing broken, but verry sore.
As a minimum, I will get better kneeguards. The ones that strap above and below the knee.
But now I'm thinking... knee braces. Should I consider them? Apart from torsional protection, do they offer impact protection too? What about fitting into my boots? I read somewhere that sometimes you need shorty boots to accommodate the braces. Not an option, I just got the damn boots.
Lesson learnt: Dont use this kak!
