KTM-990 ADV OR BMW1200GS What to do?

First time in my life that I am commuting with a motorcycle. I have survived the first year now.

But now I am thinking of upgrading to a proper bike with power and one I can go do some 2-3 day offroad riding in Botswana & Namibia.
Now the do I go 1200GS or 990 ADV???? :-\
