So after breaking another expensive spot light again, I did the following: ( I used the 5 led aluminium spot light )
1. Remove the headlight, high beam globe and wire spring that hold in the bulb.
2. Used a 57mm hole saw without the centre drill bit but with an o ring wrapped around the hole saw to act as an centralizing spacer in the headlight tube.
3. Gently cut the hole in the reflector using a drill with speed control
4. Stripped the spot light of all it brackets, put two o rings around the spot, the first in the groove left where the bracket used to go and the second about 10 mm back.
5. Filled the gap between the orings with silicone sealer and gently insert the spot light into the headlight tube, find the correct position and let dry
6. Crimp or solder on the correct lugs (first check polarity as the led spots only work one way)
7. Re assemble and use with caution, this thing is very bright and i have been banned from using it on our day trips by my group.
