I want to make both my tyres tubeless on my 990, I have read a bit on the forum about these conversions, but can't really make out if it can be done.
One of the local dealers, told me of a 'new' product, a smaller reinforced tube that sits on the inside, that seals the spoke area, apparently if you get a puncher it can still be ridden on this tube ??? My question was, if you try and plug the puncher, you stand the risk of punchering the 'small tube', he said because of the reinforced structure of the tube, it can't be punchered.
Do any body have any experience on this? I also read that if the rim is as wide as the 990, it does not work as well?? ???
