If it is where I think then I was chasing Alfie's clan. My buddy had a breakdown and decided to head back and I was miles behind! I didnt want to get stuck....that 690 runs out of fuel if you look at the bike!

I have a need for a 690, must just convince "myself". I was trying to stay out of the way of Alfies bunch. Something to be said for a 25l tank on a 640 - hate the weight but can ride the whole day.

Was a great ride. Next one 24 April. Cannot wait. The 690 is ready. How I am going to carry luggage I do not know yet.

Friend of mine made a little swivel carrier on the back.  So possible to fuel without too much hasstle.
