While waiting for the folk to arrive I took a trippie up to Highmoor Reserve. It is just 5Km away and stunning - even at the death of winter.

and then the folks started to arrive. The fires were most welcome as it was this <--> cold  :biggrin:

Just a day trip for me, but what a lekker day it was!

I left durbs at 6 am and headed for howick where I was to meet up with fatty matty.
Met mat at 7 at the howick turn off and we took a leisurely ride up the R103 to notties and then out to glengary.
Met up with all the guys, has some coffee and just talked a bit of kak until it was time to head out for the ride.
I joined the group doing the orange route which end up with about 12 of us.
Not to far into the ride and Drew got a puncture on his 1090R demo, 3 of us stayed to help him change the tube and the others carried on.
After changing the tyre we hit the tar road for a bit and met up with the rest of the chaps at the bottom of little Sani.
We then headed to the Colenso club for a beer and cooldrink and some more kak praat..
Then time for me to head back to durbs!

I must say, a very well organized event, so lekker to meet a whole bunch of new chaps, next year I am def there for the weekend!

Well done chaps!

It was also my first trip on my new bike, my word, I'm loving the 1090R. A real machine!!

To the Bash Committee . well done , excellent venue , excellent sponsorship  wonderful time all put together  by a very efficient team . Thank you to the owners and managers of  Glengarry for all your hard work and good service . As requested by Tommy we all behaved ourselves well every one except Tommy  and the management say we may return  except Tommy  :biggrin: he has to be accompanied by an adult . Draad what happened chap ? we prefer drunk and disorderly not flippen prim and proper .

Guys, I took shots of almost everybody on the way out on the Sat out rides (I think I screwed about three - apologies in advance)

But there are about 55 pics, and I don't know what to do with them - I think they are only of interest to the riders in the pic, and even then I am not sure.

What I was thinking is that I can open a new thread, you guys can download your pics, and then I can ask the mods to zap the thread after a few weeks to unclog the forum.

Can this work ?
