My first short RR, so here goes....

The plan was for me to ride up from Durban and meeting my dad(from Joburg) half way at Mahai camp in Royal Natal National Park. He would bring down the tent and supplies with his Landy.

Needed some storage space so Dennis helped me to fix my broken top box with some fiberglass. Some sanding, spray paint and some bolts and it was almost as good as new...

The weather reports did not look so great, but I was determined to go. Got up early and left at about 4:30 Saturday morning kitted with my rain suite.

Had a couple of light drissles and some hectic mist in the Howick area, but mostly the ride was quite enjoyable. Headed up to Bergville and then hooked a left towards Royal Natal via Woodstock dam .

The weather turned out to be great and I had an awesome time with my dad!

Yes. Had the numbers moved around a bit. Tried to get a guy to make a round hole in the license plate backing so I could stick it from the back with a normal license sticker, but it was a complete mess. So I had him make another plate with just the numbers moved, and then used some decifix to stick disc to license plate from front.

Awesome pictures as usual Tinus.

The river bed with the Amphitheater in the background is Windows Wallpaper material.

Nice one, Tinus!

Glad you made it ok and that the box held out ;D

Those last two photo's are amazing, definitely wallpaper material!

The last one was a bit spoiled by a Beemer - If it were a Tenere it would have been wallpaper material.  :pot:
