i love malawi, in fact i intend going there in december (by landy).
you say that railway bridge at Sena that has been converted to take cars etc is not operational any more?
are you sure?
we wanted to go via that route, skipping tete upstream and giving the ferry dowstream a miss.

A friend of mine crossed the bridge at Sena last week in a bakkie. It is still operational, but only certain times.

What a great report. I am to scared to go back there, the last time we where only suppose to spend 2 nights on lake Malawi, I can remember that 7 nights later we where still waking up with the view of the lake, what a place.
