Lesotho - the ride that broke me (and my bike...)

The one thing that did go smooth, was the border post.  Open passport, chub, hand back, "you cên go!"

Now, being a serious photographic hobbyist, I took my DSLR, battery grip, wide angle- and zoom lenses.  Oh, and a helluva-heavy tripod.  NOT cool when you go on a trip like this...  And NOT when you take along a pocket camera AND a GoPro.  Looking back now, I could have chucked 3/4 of all my luggage!

We stopped at the stream at the beginning of the Sani, and then the sports started...

Now, it is clear that the Sani was never in a better condition, but we somehow got it right to add a little spice - first up was Johan.  On his way up, Johan passed a group of German tourists and gave them one hell of a free show by almost dropping his bike in the process.  I canned myself watching this afterwards!

Agreed maybe the part of him thats broken is nine fingers.
