Leydsdorp might be tiny, but it’s interesting
It is said that Leydsdorp was declared a city 1 October 1890, making Leydsdorp the smallest City in South Africa.

This is because President Paul Kruger, who had a house in Leydsdorp, had to sign important documents which could only be done in a city. It was on one of his favourite hunting destinations.

We had a proper party at Oppie Oewer where @Ghato  handed out way too many strafdoppe......

Next morning after breakfast, Gerrit took us out for a scenic ride in his backyard.

We started off with a visit to a small waterfall

We climbed up the side of the rock to view waterfall from the top - a very challenging task in MX boots!

@Ghato managed to get it wrong and had a bit of a tumble....... to roaring laughter from the rest of us.....
