Bachelor Dog
Well, as most of you know by now, Long Way Down will happen.
Both EmcG and Charlie are committed to getting the group back together and ride from the UK to Cape Town.
A departure date has not been confirmed but the ride is planned to last for around 3 months.
My question is this: Should Wild Dog Adventure Riders jump on the band wagon immediately before some other idiot grabs the spoils?
If we do decide to support their ride someone will have to get in touch with the BBC or whoever and explain that we are the only true representative body of adventure riding in South Africa. If Charlie and Ewan want to, we can escourt them from the border down to Aghulhas (they probably wouldn't want this - don't blame them) or just invite them over for a fantastic braai with all the beer and skaap tjops they can handle. It could be great exposure for the forum and a nice gesture from us
Or should we leave it for some pseudo bike organisation to hijack them and try to make a quick buck off their adventure?
What say you?
