I am thinking about a trip through Botswana and Namibia for a 2 week period to be completed before the end of September. Unless anyone out there is interested in such a trip - taking time and avoiding large kms a day - I'll be riding on my own.
What thoughts do you guys have wrt safety (I'll stay on the main roads if I'm on my own) and what tips do you have. I have never ridden my bike cross border before, so have been reading up what it required wrt paperwork and stickers and reflective vest etc.
Anyone have any suggestions as I start my planning?
