Awesome trip report guys,

I understand more than most about the sand after our previous short trip and playing with the Pig in the sand.

The Pig says she was happy to stay at home and leave the sandbox to the KLR and the TA.

As for spot the Power Station Shark, its an easy one, the one in the foreground is called Kriel its a 6 unit x 500MW/ unit, but there,s more the one behind it is Matla a 6 unit x 600MW/ unit all that power enough to make the Capie weep.   8)

Welshie

You can't drink all day if you don't start in the morning..

Zonkenut and Shark

Great pic's from both you guys. Please explain how you carried the table and chairs which you guys are sitting in. :D

It would appear that Zonkel's TA has VW Bettle blood in it, either on it's side or sump plate in the air. Did you guys let the pressure of your tyres down? If not, you would have been better off if you did.

I bet the trip did not cost much as Mozambique is cheap if you steer clear of the major hotels and camp. I would like to do at trip later in the year but that is still to be planned.

Shark, why did you not take the blue pig?

I did not let air out of the tyres. At one stage, Shark told me to do that, but because we only had 2 KM left to the border, I left it as it is. Forty, I have to say that all the falls except one was more a tip over fall than a fall. Every time I was pulling away or was going very slow.

So no, we did not deflate the tyres. The TA pressure was 2 Bar. We only took our tents, mattress, sleeping bags and some clothes and tools with us.

And about the VW thing, I am going to get you on the next trip ?
