Mattress for a trip

What is the best mattress to take on a trip during winter that is fairly insulated, easy to carry and fairly comfortable?

Look at some of these self inflating mats rather than blow up mattress. Used a blow up mattress in the past but it was freezing cold from the ground and deflated during the night

Any good advice?
