So this afternoon me and ZAGSER hit the road to the Overberg. From Strand to Gordon's Bay to Rooiels and then to Betty's bay. At Kleinmond we stopped at the Spar to get something to chow.
This was consumed on the grass by the beach
Then on towards the Hemel and Aarde pad.
Had to make an emergency stop
Another emergency stop by myself. This time to take this photo.
And then on to the dam.
Then right towards Caledon.
The Overberg was looking awesome.
They are rebuilding the R320 and we were forced to do a detour towards Teslaarsdal.
On the way we had to cope with some slow moving traffic.
And then we could nail it again on the lekker dirt roads.
In Caledon we refueled and my and Zagser's roads split. He hit the N2 for home and I stuck to the dirtroads. (I hate the N2. Especially the part from Caledon)
I stopped to snap these especially for Dusty Rusty.
And admired the view.
Then crossed the Botrivier.
And followed the road past Betty's bay and Rooiels back to home again.
Man! did I enjoy those gravel roads. I had a blast.
